"Tales of an Urban Indian" premieres

Brian and Dominique quickly becomes a
couple and she instantly takes it upon herself to guide
Brian’s career. This does not sit well with Krista who has
always been the one Brian turns too. In addition, Krista now
has to deal with Paul’s insecurities, and after a ridiculous
night where Paul tries to prove his manhood, he finally
agrees to let the past stay in the past. Krista on the other
hand, is starting to doubt her relationship with Paul.
Later, Paul flies Krista’s parents down from the reserve to
join them for a surprise dinner party. Krista’s mother lets
it slip that Paul is planning to propose to her. Krista
flips out and drinks too much wine. Meanwhile, Brian and
Dominique announce that he is going to forgo his documentary
and develop a sitcom through Dominique’s Hollywood
connections. Krista and Brian argue and in the heat of the
moment, Krista accepts Paul’s proposal. At Krista’s stagette
party, Brian appears and they call a truce. While dancing to
an old romantic song, they get a little too close for
comfort and Krista’s mother hauls her out of there, snarling
at Brian as they leave. Brian decides to tell Krista that
she is making a mistake in marrying Paul, even if it means
losing Krista in the process.

The pilot for ‘Tales of an Urban Indian’
was filmed in February. Right now we are waiting to receive
word if APTN likes our show enough to pick it up. So, maybe
you guys can write APTN and say “We want Tales of an Urban
Indian!” I don’t know if it will help or not, but, maybe it
will get them thinking!
Cast members include Darrell Dennis, Carmen Moore, Tantoo
Cardinal, Graham Greene, David Lewis, Katya Gardner, Paul
Bae and the Baker Twins (Shauna Baker and Shannon Baker).
